Permission request screens
39 screens from 13 iOS apps
Permission screens prepare users for the system prompt for notifications, location, camera or tracking. A pre-permission screen that explains the benefit first noticeably changes how many people tap "Allow".
What to look for
- Whether a custom explainer appears before the iOS system dialog.
- The benefit stated for each permission.
- When in the flow the request happens and whether it can be deferred.
Flowteka has 39 permission request screens from 13 iOS apps, including StillMind Meditation & Sleep, Facts - Daily Random Trivia and Skiddle: Events and Tickets. They most often feature Modal, Illustration and Navigation Bar. The most represented categories are Reference and Travel.
